This course covers how to build a low-cost version of an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) similar to the one that you are viewing here. This low-cost version of an ELN uses the freely available WordPress Content Management System along with selected free plugins and selected paid versions of plugins that extend the basic WordPress capabilities.
This course assumes that you are building a WordPress ELN from scratch. As such, you should have some familiarity with basic concepts of building a website. Ideally you would have some experience building a WordPress website, but any experience of building any type of website from scratch should be sufficient.
You can also begin with the free WordPress ELN from the site at free-eln.org. In that case, you would probably be able to get by with the information from this course that covers the additional paid versions of the plugins.
